Abs Equals Belly Rings??

Okay, so I noticed something kind of strange...

I know, or at least have seen, quite a few girls with above average stomachs, say, with visible abs, or at least flat and toned. And the great majority of them had a belly ring, or has had one.
It seems strange, although it makes sense. Their belly is actually in good enough shape that they can show off their piercing. I've never seen someone with a less than toned belly sporting one of these piercings.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind this particular perforation at all, I just wanted to know what you thought about it.
Do you have nice abs? And do you have a belly ring to go with them? Would you consider getting one? Would you consider getting one even if your stomach wasn't THAT good?

Haha...when i went on holidays with a couple of my friends in novemeber i went to a tattoo parlor to get my belly button and a nose stud done, except they were way expensive so i had to choose, i ended up getting my nose done only because it will be visible all the time so better value for money. i do want it done though.

I have my belly button done. I wouldn't say I have a perfect stomach, but some people say I have a good one. Idk. But well.. no offence, if you didn't have a nice stomach, or a fairly nice one, why would you get it done? I mean.. you don't have to have abs, or even a flat as stomach, but if you are a bit overweight and such, it's not like you're going to show your belly anyway, so there would be no point in it.

I didn't mean to offend anyone here, but it just makes sense.

I don't think it matters as long as you like how you look and how it looks. Just because you dont have a flat tummy or you don't show you're tummy, doesn't mean it won't be appreciated in private lol Too painful for me though, I have enough piercings. I'll stick with the tattoo's lol

Ive never had a, persay, TONED belly. it's my 'problem spot'. but i've had mine pierced for about 2 years now, and i show it off all the time. i just subconsciously suck in my stomach a bit lol.

and whenever im laying down watching tv or something with my boyfriend he sits there and plays with it. idk why lol..

I used to really want to get my belly button pierced, but I never did because soccer was more important to me at the time. Now, I'm glad I didn't. I think I look okay, but I'm very uncomfortable showing off my body in any sort of way.

I think if you want to get it done, then go for it. Who cares if you have a perfect stomach- as long as you like it.

Well, I do have my belly button and I'm trying to get mi figure back since I just had my son almost two months ago. I'm working really hard to get it back so I can show my belly ring off. I'm not really big though cause I have always been skinny all my life.

Just another cruel way of saying that if you're fat you shouldn't have your belly pierced or show it off.

So what if someone isn't a size 0, if you love your body show it off!

^^ hehe, good point. You're exactly the same as me, i'm a UK size 8, not too sure what that is in America and i wouldn't show it off, haha.

But hey, if you're comfortable, go for it! Thats all i'm saying!
