Obsessed

Sooo. alot of you know about my ex steve, and all the crap we went through with him and other girls and blah blah. and how i finally got the courage to break up with him. well shortly after i did he went back to jail [he was out on bail when i broke up with him, he's been going in and out of jail for the past 4-5 months] and he keeps writing me letters. the first one was covered in i-love-yous and all about how much he missed me and did i really want to be done, for good? [we were on and off a lot] and just sounded pretty obsessive. i wrote him back and told him that yes, we are done for good, and we can stay FRIENDS, if he wants, but only that. the second letter he wrote still had a lot of i-love-yous and was basically about how much pain he was in without me but oh well he guesses he just has to deal with it, and at the end he wrote 'sorry it took so long to write back but i was at the point of a breakdown, crying and nauseous and couldnt even sleep but im doing better now' and he sent me 2 pictures, well not really pics but drawings, big hearts with our names and such. im just wondering, my mom says hes acting this way because hes in jail all alone and i was basically all he had, do you think she's right? or is he trying to play some game to get me back? i'm not too good at reading him anymore.

regardless, i'm not getting back with him EVER. =] but i would like to figure out what he's trying to play.

ps. lol.. he ALSO had the audacity to tell me that I hurt HIM, and this wasn't HIS fault, was it? when he knows full well that this IS his fault, because he's a cheater and a liar and an all around scum.

Im thinkin that all the i love yous are b/s and that if he really loved u like he says he does he wouldnt have cheated on u in the first place, 99% of the time people dont change hes all talk right now but when he gets out its going to be just lioke beforem u need to cut all contact with him otherwise it will continue on

Yeah.. but.. idk lol. it just seems more.. idk. maybe im too nice?

maybe write a letter to explain it but not in alot of detail.
and say if he still writes all the letters will be destroyed.
or maybe dont. and he will get it.
I dont want u to have any trouble wen he gets out.
