My dearest father..

My father passed away from a heart attack in september of 2002, i watched him die right before my eyes and i was only 9 years old.
and this may sound a little silly but i only realised just the other day that he wasnt comming back.

it was very depressing, and i was just wondering if anyone had any advice for me.

I think its kind of fate that i just read this but my mom died right before my eyes in 2002 from a heart attack on Christmas Eve
its been 5 years since and im still coming to terms with the fact that she wont be there when i wake up or when i get home from school

Its hard to take a hit so long after reality finally smacks you in the face. The best thing for you to do is cherish what time you had with him. (although it happened when you were nine), he may be out of physical reach, but emotionally you can hold onto him forever through memories and material things he has left behind.

Its very hard to cope with this...my grandmother died 2 days after my 6th birthday...It hit me when i was around 12 or 13 that i would never see her again..she was my everything..she was the one who basically raised me...just know that one day you will see him again..and you still have memories that will help get you through the day

Its something that will always pop up unexpectedly but as long as u remember the happy times and know one day you will see them again

Its never easy to watch a parent die,
its happened right before my eyes twice
so I know how hard it is.
the thing is that you have to come to terms with the
situation and as hard as it is learn to accept it.
change your surroundings and just go for a totally new start.
