Blocking it out.

Urgh.

I found out a few days ago that my grandad only has 3 months to live, if that. He has lung cancer and its to bad to do kemo or have an operation.
I'm acting as if i don't care about it to everyone but i do

It's really hurtfull in the past few months i got my grandad back again and we got close and now its horrible because im looseing him just as quick

Im angry with ym aunty two all she does is go no about all of this money i will inherit
but i do not care!

why cant i have my grandad instead of the money.

I lost my bf's grandfather the same way 2 years ago, he was the only grandfather I had ever known, I lost both of mine before I could remember them. Quite a bit of my bf's family made a fuss over the money and stuff, but we did not put ourselves into that side of it, we stayed away from it as much as we could, we just made sure the last 2 months we had to spend with him were good and that's all you can do too. Say everything you have ever wanted to say and leave no strings dangling, make the most of the time you do have left and try to remove yourself from the rest of it, if the say anything to you about it, tell them you don't care about that, all you care about is your grandfather and what little time you have left with him.

Wow sorry 2 hear that
i havent had anyone close to me die yet
doesnt mean that it wont thou
maybe you can bring a video camera when u visit him next and just ask him questions or to tell you stories of his life. that will b a nice thing to look on wen u r missing him, also make a scrapbook and take fotos of you two and add nice quotes and you can look at that when u r sad.
wen u see him next u can also just tell him how much you love him and how he has changed ur life and all that coz he would really appreciate knowing ppl still care about him.

There some really great ideas aswell, i'm definately going to make a scrap book i did'nt think of that.
He knows everyone loves him though
but i do like to remind him all of the time anyway

I went to see him today and he said he was scared
I well didnt know what to say
but then i just said
Why grandad we are here for every step of the way.
