So my friend of 12 years is seeing a guy that is really not good for her. I mean, they go to the same church. But ever since she started seeing him she's changed soooo much.

    1. She used to love school. She really cared about her grades, she NEVER missed. Like, she ALWAYS got the Perfect Attendance award. Now, she misses all the time. She just stays home and txts/calls him all day.

    2. He controls her! a. She is really good friends with this guy that he doesn't like and he told her that he didn't want her to hang out with him. b. He really hates the stores American Eagle and Aeropostale and she had on clothes from there and she was afraid to tell him where they were from and when he did find out where they were from he told her that he hated them! WTF?!?

    3. She put this really cute picture of her on her myspace as her default and everyone commented it saying that is was adorable and he called her and was like, "I hate that picture. I don't like it at all. Take it off." and she left it for like a day then changed it to one that he said was his favorite.

    4. They had a huge arguement over txting and calling and after he told her to go to bed and hung up the phone and they were both pissed off he called her and was like, "I'm only gonna say this once so listen. I love you. Now go to bed."

^^ okay, I will admit that was sweet but I can't help but feel like he just said that so she wouldn't leave him.

Its just I've seen this change since they got together and I mean, I know that people change but still.

    Am I wrong? ugh.

I think you should talk to your friend. maybe she doesnt realize how much shes changed. if you talk to her about it and she acknowledges the way shes been acting, then voice your complaints about the guy. I dont think he should be controlling her. Just you putting that puts up a red flag. Maybe she thinks he's being sweet and thats his way of showing he cares.

You know what they say... Love is blind (or crush, anyway)
