What are all of you's doing for Australia Day?

Celebrating Indian Republic Day.

Jan 26th is "Invasion Day" in Australia, actually.

Aw, but I won't spoil the fun. A holiday is a holiday and Australia is cool, and I shall have a traditional barbecue, listening to Triple J's top 100.

I'm not sure.. I think I'm supposed to be going to the Gold Coast with some friends but I'm not too positive on that one yet. I don't actually usually celebrate it. Eek.

Wow its this saturday! havent given it much thought. Most probably dinner with the family then out with a few friends.

Tossing up between heading out to an Aussie pub here in London OR having a house party and just playing all my Aussie music and buying lots of Australian beer (and if we're reeeally lucky even some TWISTIES!)...

I might even try to get online and play Triple J's hottest 100 off the internet... THAT would just make my day!

Heath ledger is from australia, cant think if how would most of the locals will celebrate it

Oh, you know, we have a few other people in Australia who are cool and, thankfully, still alive. I guess then we'll manage eh.

Me and my friend are going to let balloons go for all if Australian icons that have died, Heath Ledger, Peter Brock, Belinda Emett and Steve Irwin. And for our friends and relatives that have died.

Going to my mates house, whose having a BBQ/party that goes all day and all night...drinking, listening to aussie music and he's made fireworks so he's going to teach me how to put them up in his front lawn.

Did anyone go to Big Day Out today? my friend had a spare ticket he was going to sell to me, but i have been sick all week so i bailed :(
