Tell me how the sun could shine,
If you're someone else's, and not mine?
How can life still be sweet,
If your not here to make my heart beat.

This sorrow that now consumes me,
For destiny has it,
That there shall not be a you and me.

Days have gone by that I've sat here,
Wondering if I should sercome to this fear,
That I'll be alone,
Until the day I die that I die,
And always know why.

For I let you go that one dreadful day,
Where as to now I wish you'd stay.
I wish I could turn back time,
To the day before I started this rhyme.

For I had found an angel such as you,
I didn't know if what I felt was true.
But it's to late for me to say,
That I've loved you since the very first day.

But I shall wait until the time,
To when I may finally end this rhyme,
And ask you the question my heart did lack,
If you love me one day, will you please come back.

Heaven Needed A Hero

Tonight I lay,
Upon the moonlight.
Searching for the one,
That left my sight.

The trees whisper softly,
His name, they beckon
The wind catches it,
Flowing and moving on.

All alone, no one but me
Sitting here unable to see.
Tears fill my eyes,
Why did it have to be me.

Pain collides hard with my soul,
Pure anguish consumes me,
I throw my head back,
Letting out an aching scream.

It echos through the night,
And it echos through my heart
In there is a missing piece,
When you left you took that part.

Examining the picturesque stars
Wishing I was the one to die,
Life's not worth living without you,
To be happy would be to live a lie.

They said, your life was over
That it was your time to go,
But still, I can't understand,
I don't think I will ever know.

Hours I spend: alone and isolated,
The pain, a throbbing ache inside
Despair my constant companion
Haunting memories, I cannot hide

A thought suddenly dawn's upon me
Just as the moon starts to fade below
My question is finally answered:
"I guess Heaven Needed A Hero"

The Dead of the Night (collab)by Lonely Romeo & Gabriella

((this was nature but i guess it kinda fits under life in a way))

Air below freezing,
Wolves howl to the moonlight,
Branches falling from trees,
On this cold misty night.

Cold wind blows, burning,
yet no pain sharper than the memories left behind,
a trail of footsteps sunken deep in white snow,
to their broken path, resigned.

The warmth of the sun
abducted before dawn,
the creatures of the day
from the land, they've withdrawn.

Skeleton trees rustling,
stripped bare from the moon,
ice shards in the branches,
diamonds falling soon.

A cold breeze drifts
across the grounds,
the winds silent scream
is the only sound.

Black snowflakes fall,
from blood red clouds,
sprinkling their enchantment,
invisible under the shroud.

All perspectives change
in a different light,
because things aren't the same
in the dead of the night.

feeling so weak as though
close to death.

Felt so strong before you
No fear dwelt within
Now all i know is pain and suffering
Memories of where we've been

Losing contact with all surroundings
Listening to my hearts consistant poundings.
Stuck in a time for a freezing moment
Feels like a century of blissful torment.

They say love completes and saves all
All i can remember is a torturous fall
Lying on the ground, screaming your name
Now that you here, I'll never be the same.
