Ranking/ Division system..

to me it sounds like it would just be alot of work, and would make it confusing, there are so many things that you would have to take into account, but the idea its self sounds good

This is a bad idea in my opinion. It's arrogant to go seperating poems into categories based on someones assumption of their quality...and then give their authors fancy titles to back the notion up.

no, i dont think that it would be by the person, i think it would be devided by how many comments or what level of vote it had, not by person, but thats just my though

it's a good idea in theory... but votes aren't always honest...and even if they were honest, maybe the only people that voted on a poem were the ones that hated it, thus making it low...or those that loved it, thus making it high.

And why do we want the division anyway?

Just follow the "Members" link and sort them however you want... you can really get a good mix that way.

i think it is a great idea, but i think too the rating system is unique in a sense. With the load of wrok and updating of site and all, i believe it will ammount to additional work on the administrators, but none the less a great idea, worth trying.

well mabye if they do get the time they could, because it would be nice to just go to a certain group, and it could also be another thing to look forward to , getting to the next level, kinda like the awards

yea, that would be cool, but doesn't everyone want to improve? I agree there should be a little more orginization when it comes to finding a certain group, but I'm not sure this is the way to go about it. Nice thinking though

i really kinda like the way they have it organized already, so that way you definetely get a mix of all kinds of poets...

Wouldn't it just be easier to put, "I write for fun" or "I write to improve" or something like that, and your own profile?
